Today was Joe's and my anniversary. It's been 6 years since we were married! I just had a Birthday and am now 25 years old, as of March 3. We can't believe we have been together for 9 of my birthdays. I know there are many out there who are way past the early double digits in memories of birthdays and anniversaries, but we are still starting out. It seems like a long time for us! We are excited and glad to still be together and happy as ever. We have two amazing little girls to show for it, as well!
Speaking of which, are doing wonderfully. They keep us endlessly busy. They have demanding schedules and needs just as any child does! They have quite the social network, in which case provides us with one as well. It leads to many trips in the car, even more so since we live 30 miles from Vernal. Peyton's infamous line once we reach the end of our road on the verge of making the right handed turn to Vernal, she says she doesn't want to go in the mountains. The second sentence being that she wishes to go left into Roosevelt, because that is only a 3-5 minute journey. However, Roosevelt, hasn't proven to be much of a pleasant social experience for Joe or myself, so we don't often go left. We hope to be in Vernal, in the next 2 years, if we are still in this area of the country.
Peyton loves the classes and playgroup she is apart of. She is always enrolled in Kindermusik, at PrimeTime 4 Kids. She occasionally will do a swim class or gymnastics class. She is becoming quite an opinionated little girl. She doesn't hesitate to tell Mom or Dad what she wants or doesn't want. She is still shy with those she doesn't know. She is getting better with the daycare ladies at the gym. That is a relief. She is still an extremely picky eater. Her favorite foods consist mostly of anything bread or sugar. I know, great! She is a huge help to her sister! She watches over her and plays with her. The other day we were on our way to Vernal, and she said, "MOM, Addie has something in her MOUTH!!! GET IT!" I pulled over the car, because Addison is putting anything she can find in her mouth these days. We had an earlier incident this week with Addison at a friend's house finding a little piece of plastic. It didn't block her airway, but it definitely caused her to become upset. We got it out, and she was fine. Anyway, sure enough, she had some random torn little piece of plastic. Where it came from, we have no idea. However, it was in her hand about to be in her mouth again, and Peyton stopped a potential choking incident. She's a great big sister!
Addison is the most energetic baby I have seen in a long time. She has been crawling sine January 12. She is very fast and into things in the time it takes you to place a fork in the dishwasher. My gracious, you think your house is clean, then she finds everything you've missed. She's a bubbly, happy baby. She has the most beautiful smile that she smiles with her entire face and body. The best place to see her smile is in her eyes. You could lose yourself in her eyes, Peyton's as well.
Well, that's all for now. I have a very tired little baby who is ready for sleep!
